Acquire Testnet Tokens

This guide will help you acquire UniFi Testnet tokens. Follow the steps below to get started.

1. Install a Compatible Wallet​

To interact with UniFi Rollup, you need an Ethereum wallet like MetaMask or any other compatible Ethereum wallet. The steps should be similar for other wallets.

Installing MetaMask​

Install MetaMask as a browser extension or mobile app to get started.

2. Add the L2 Testnet to MetaMask​

To connect to the UniFi Testnet, follow these steps:

  1. Open MetaMask and click on the network dropdown.
  2. Select Add network → Add a network manually.
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Network Name: UniFi Testnet
    • RPC URL: https://testnet-rpc-unifi.puffer.fi/
    • Chain ID: 8787
    • Currency Symbol: ETH
    • Block Explorer URL: https://testnet-explorer-unifi.puffer.fi/

3. Get L2 Testnet Tokens​

You can get tokens from the Telegram Faucet Bot.
